1. What kind of gas mileage will I get when towing a Hi-Lo Trailer?
Hi-Lo owners report gas mileage of 15 to 24 mpg depending on the tow vehicle. A good rule of thumb is 80% of the mileage of the vehicle alone - much higher than you get with all travel trailers.
2. What advantage is there to buying a Hi-Lo over an upright trailer?
The primary advantage of buying a Hi-Lo is safety. A lower center of gravity provides a straighter track and providing a safer vehicle. Secondarily, are the issues of fuel economy, storage, and resale value. In addition, it takes 30 less horsepower to tow your Hi-Lo over a conventional trailer of equal weight, due to the low profile towing, which consequently will reduce wear and tear on your tow vehicle.
3. What is the resale value of a Hi-Lo compared to other trailers?
Hi-Lo has the highest resale value of any travel trailer its size, according to the NADA RV Appraisal Guide. This is due to a number of factors, including our strong, durable construction, innovative engineering, and quality materials.
4. Is there a way to raise the top if my battery goes dead?
Yes, several ways: use jumper cables from your vehicle hooked directly to the battery or you can plug your trailer into 110 volt electric or you can plug into the tow vehicle to recharge the battery. A manual hand pump which will raise or lower the unit is also offered as an option on all Hi-Lo models.

The combined capacity on all but the 18' Hi-Lo equals 62 gallons (30 gallons black and 32 gallons gray). The 1810H Hi-Lo black water tank is 18 gallons, making it 50 gallons combined. All Hi-models have a 30 gallon fresh water tank.
